Qerkin  Morina

Qerkin  Morina has been Assistant Auditor General at National Audit Office since 2011.

He was amongst the first audit staff to be hired by National Audit Office in April 2005. In October 2008 he was appointed as Deputy Auditor General, whereas since 2011 he has been holding the position of the Assistant Auditor General. For more than 11 years he has been part of the senior management of National Audit Office being one of the key contributors on developments and achievements of the organisations.

From his overall work experience, Morina has held managerial positions in accounting, economy, finances and auditing for more than 20 years.

From 1982 to 1985 he was Head of Finances at Construction and Industrial Enterprise “1 Maji” in Rahoves, whereas from 1985 to August 1991 he was Head of Economy department at Municipal Administration of Malisheva municipality. From 1998 to 2003 he worked in a primary schools and in the Court for Minor Offences in Malisheva as administrative clerk.

Morina completed studies in Organisation of Enterprise at Faculty of Economics, University of Prishtina, in 1982. Having completed the professional training in 2005 he was awarded the title Certified Private Sector Auditor. Afterward he attended the training in public sector scheme and obtained the title Certified Public Sector Auditor.

He has attended many other trainings and has participated in many international conferences and seminars. He speaks English and Serbian and some basic French.
