Zukë Zuka has been appointed as the Assistant Auditor General in the National Audit Office on a five year mandate since October 2022. As of December 2021 he has performed as Acting Assistant Audit General.
Zuka, has graduated in the Economics Faculty of Prishtina University on Corporate Economics. He is a Certified Auditor in both public and private sectors. He has also obtained the certificate on Quality Management Systems from Quality Austria.
Zuka carried on building his professional capacities in NAO, and became member of the Society of Certified Accountants and Auditors of Kosovo (SCAAK) and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
He was hired in the National Audit Office in April 2005, as financial auditor and promoted to team leader. In 2010 he was appointed Director of Audit Department.
He has led audit processes of various departments of NAO concerning the central and local levels, independent institutions, as well as different donor projects (contracted).
From February 2004 to April 2005, he has been working in the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports in the finance department and other financial services for inter-ministerial central commissions.
He has been engaged in the education area as Professor and has delivered lectures on auditing in the Universum College in Prishtina.
He has worked in the private sector for 8 years providing financial consulting services including Annual Financial Statements.
He has attended numerous professional trainings on accounting, financial audit, procurement, budget control, fraud detection, Public Financial Management System, leadership and management. He has also participated in many local and international conferences and workshops.
